Battle of the Borders p2 - 9/10/05The Battle of the Borders p2 motorcycle / muscle / street / import car race and showcase. North and South Carolina racers taking it from the street to the track. It will be held at Midlands Raceway Park, Lugoff, South Carolina on Saturday, September 10, 2005 - rain date is September 17. We are taking it back to where it all began, the South vs. the North and the East go round for round against the West. We are going to see who brings the muscle and whose going to have to trim the fat! There will be several classes of racing with a purse ranging from $500-$2500. The winner will be saluted Mr. North or South Carolina. Fenris Cycle Diagnostics will be on site to fine tune your bike. Grudge matches welcome, test and tune, motorcycle and car show, swap-meet, motorcycle auction, fastest wheelie contest, pocket bike race and clinic, 4 wheeler and dirt bike track, boot race, slow ride, sexy lady contest, riding lessons, kid amusements, vendors, live music and special VIP guest. Advance tickets will go on sale August 1, 2005 for $10, Adults $15 at the gate, kids 6-12 $6, 6 years and under are free. Ten percent of the profits will go to help Making Kids Dreams become a Reality Foundation of kids. All pre-registered cars and motorcycles will be discounted $5. Vendors $25 before September 1, 2005.
