Springfield Motorcycle Show - 1/20/06 - 1/22/06
OSEG, the Outdoor Sports Expo Group, Inc., is glad to announce the dates of January 20-22, 2006, for The Springfield Motorcycle Show at the Eastern States Exposition, West Springfield, MA. OSEG, event managers of sportsmen, boat and travel shows for over 25 years realized the need for a new and custom bike show in the Northeast. Bringing future riders and the entrenched biker a top show at "Birth Place of the American Motorcycle" Springfield, Massachusetts.
The setting of The Springfield Motorcycle Show is a high-end, top shelf event that will bring together a great combination of manufacturers and retailers, in the right time frame and at the right location. All this in an atmosphere of fun and enjoyment that is suitable for everyone. The superstar guest of the show this year is Michelle Smith, nine year host of Speedvision's "American Thunder", the longest running TV motorcycle program in America. Michelle brings her great personality and charm, along with knockout good looks to the show for each day to pose for photos with show goers (bring your camera), sign promo photos, T's, whatever and chat about big bad bikes. How-to and where-to seminars are planned along with demonstrations, live music and industry showcases of the most up-to-date gear going. Be it, Harley, Honda, trike, road-rocket, dirtbike, or custom ride, it will be here and available to you! The event site, Eastern States Exposition Center, home of the "Big E", New England's Great State Fair, W. Springfield, MA, has established itself as one of the largest fairgrounds in the country. It hosts the Northeast's top events, which produces some of the best results in the show industry. The "crossroads" of the Northeast, two major interstates of 90 and 91, converge in the Springfield area to makes this location one of the easiest accesses in the Northeast. This brings all of New England, New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania into range. Motorcycle builders, customizers, bike owners and even manufacturers are invited to enter the Show Competitions for prizes and cash.
This competition is a chance to join the Northeast best builders and show your stuff! OSEG, brings this event a well experienced "management team". More than twenty years of producing the Northeast's largest consumer shows will bring The Springfield Motorcycle Show the absolute best results through many years to come. The map is pretty self-explanatory if you have used an online map before.
1. Specify your trip origin (where are you coming from).
2. Click on the attractions you'd like to see on the map (1 to all of them). If you hover your mouse over an attraction it's name will be highlighted. If you click on the attraction you'll receive more details including the address. From here you can click to get further directions on how to get to the selected attraction.
3. Submit your route request. Your trip will be broken down into steps. If you plan on making one or more stops before arriving at your destination, you might want to break your trip down even further to locate attractions in that specific area or book your room or campsite close to the nearest biker bar!

Although online maps are great for getting you there, they normally give you the major (highway) routes. There's nothing like taking off for the country roads, smelling the cow shit or whatever natural scents are in the area, checking out the scenery and absorbing the fresh air that only country roads seem to provide.
